Is there a quick way to reply to an SMS message? Currently i do options -> reply -> via text message...

How much quicker do u want it its just 3 presses of the same button and to the best of my knowledge there is no quicker way.

I'd like one click. Given the amount that I'm text messaging extra clicks = too much work. Perhaps a hotkey hitting 'r' or something will let me bypass some stuff. This is a productivity tool so I'm trying to be productive.. Anyone else know?

Don`t remember that an option like this I would be seen before.

You can leave your SMS application open all the time at the expense of other applications. You might also want to try this thing called: Google. Do a search for sms application s60 and go from there.

Thanks for your reply. Of course I tried google. I was hoping to first see if there was some obscure undocumented feature I could use without resorting to third party. I'm not sure if I could go 3rd party already if I'm trying to get threaded SMS's using conversation. What do you guys currently use?

Try SMSchat. You need to go to: http://symbianwave.com/product.php?id=smschat_s60. I was a beta tester for them. It works ok.

BTW, thanks for this. I have tried conversation and it takes a little long to load plus it doesn't mark messages as read. SMSChat seems to work well.
