When I press web to browse the internet, it always comes up as a WAP connection.
My mates got an i phone, and can browse the internet as you would on a computer. Can I do this or am I stuck with the WAP.

Yes you could. It would depend on the connection you are using though. Is it through 3G or WAP? Also what browser are you using? The settings for Opera Mobile and Mini for example are defaulted to mobile view (similar to WAP view).

If you have not installed any other browsers, you're using the Nokia browser.
In Menu->settings-> connectivity->network you can se if youre phone is set to 3g. Then you can go down to destinations and see which accesspoints you have and choose on of them to be used as default, or you can for example set Internet as default, and set your wificonnection as priority 1 and your networkproviders connection as priority 2. It will then use your wifi over 3g if you are at home.

For the connection, you could check connection manager, or when you are browsing, there should be an icon saying 3G on top of the webpage.
for browser obviously its like on a PC. Does it say Opera on startup or anywhere? Did you even install Opera and Skyfire.^_^

I would recommend Opera mobile. Use your onboard browser and go to opera.com and downloade it. Inside Opera mobile you can change the view of the internetsites. Hope you enjoy your mini!![]()
